Catherine is a successful sculptor with a number of commissioned public art works including a near-lifesize bronze sculpture, "With An Eye On The Sky" commissioned to commemorate the Year of the Outback;  a bronze relief plaque for the track entrance to the Binna Burra section of Lamington National Park and another large bronze relief for Boonah’s new ambulance centre. Her entry in the 2004  Swell Sculpture Festival on the Gold Coast was purchased for $15,000 and donated to the Tweed River Art Gallery where it is on permanent display.
